Unite d’Habitation, Marseille, 1952, Le Corbusier ----- most people think of these large buildings as being horrible. Together with my little daughter I visited the twin of this one in Firminy. We were amazed that people liked the building so much. They loved the inside. They loved that they have a small community, like a village, with its primary school on the top of the building. So I had to revise my prejudice.
