Waterfall House - In 1935, architect Frank Lloyd Wright designed this incredible house (Fallingwater) that re-ignited his architectural career. It’s a home that presents an architecture conforming to nature.
Now I really am a Frank Lloyd Wright girl through and through. His advice of “study nature, love nature, stay close to nature. It will never fail you” is a philosophy that I stick to in my own design work. I just love how his Fallingwater sits so comfortably within the landscape. It would be easy to image that it was conceived by the land and naturally erupted into it's position.
The Falling Water House, Architekt: Frank Lloyd Wright 1936-39, Fallingwater liegt ungefähr 80 Kilometer südöstlich von Pittsburgh in den Allegheny Mountains im Tal des Flusses Youghiogheny River. Wenige Kilometer entfernt liegt im Ort Uniontown das ebenfalls von Frank Lloyd Wright entworfene Privathaus Kentuck Knob.
